Soap and Glory - Offer Review

Land of Soap and Glory

Over the Christmas break, me and my mum were doing our usual boxing day sale shopping (which can I just say was a huge disappointment) and we went into boots.
My mum being the saver that she is (nice way to put it) loves going into boots on boxing day and stocking up on gift sets we may need throughout the year.. So whilst she was looking at silly bath sets nobody would ever want, I popped down the makeup aisle .. Obviously and found an offer on Soap and Glory Cosmetics.

I’m a pretty newbie to Soap and Glory make up but am a huge fan of their body butters and shower creams that I decided to give it a go.

The offer: Buy 2 Soap and Glory Cosmetic products and get the Supercat Eyeliner Pen for FREE.

Archery 2-in-1 Brow Filling Pencil & Brush -- £8.00

Let me just put it out there. I'm not really a "fill my brows on an everyday basis" kinda girl.. I don’t know whether its because I'm lazy, I'm not too great at it or maybe it’s just that I don’t really see the need…

But I decided to give this a go after hearing great things online.. I purchased the brow pencil in the shade “hot chocolate” which is a great match for me.
The kit comes with a spoolie brush on one end and a very fine roll up pencil on the other.

I love how stiff and stern the spoolie is compared to ones I’ve used in the past, this helps my brows stay in place throughout the whole day and the thin pencil makes it so easy to add the illusion of natural hairs.
It is not very highly pigmented which may suck for some of you brow experts but for me (someone who is winging it as they go along) it makes it almost impossible to get it wrong.

Great product and very affordable!!

Supercat Carbon Black Extreme Eyeliner Pen  - £6.00 (FREE)

Who can say no to a freebie? Everyone knows when you are given a product for free you don’t really set your expectations too high.. So I went into this product hoping for the best but expecting the worst. (bit dramatic)

I WAS SO IMPRESSED. I have previously been using Maybelline - Master Precise Eyeliner Pen and I found no fault in it until this came into my life. This eyeliner pen is one of the thinnest I’ve used, it has a perfectly fine nib which is great for getting into the inner corners and makes it almost impossible to make a mistake.

I often use this to create a subtle wing on my top eyelid as well as underneath my normal eyeliner on my lower waterline. This helps my khol pencil eyeliner stay in place all day and does.not.smudge.

Love it.

Thick & Fast HD Mascara - Lengthening and Volumising Mascara With Collagen -- £10.50

Do I need more mascaras? To a “normal, non-make up obsessed” individual the answer would obviously no, but the junkie in me decided enough is never enough so I picked up another one as part of this deal.

Let me justify myself though.. the only other things on offer we lipsticks which I don’t wear a lot of and pinky blushers - no thanks.

I am so glad I gave into the addict in me and got my hands on this mascara! This definitely does what it says on the tin.
After the first time applying this I could see a noticeable difference in the length of my lashes, they looked a lot longer and fuller and when I added my Rimmel - Wonderfull Mascara the illusion of falsies was REAL.

However, with all great things they come at a price and with this product the price was the smudges and product this left on my eyelids. I guess it made my eyelashes too long so before they dried they would touch my eyelids and leave that dreaded black mark.

Nothing a cotton bud couldn’t sort out but annoying all the same.

Have you tried any of these products? What have you thought about them? Any product recommendations? Leave them below…
